Product Line 1: Handcrafted Milk Soaps

A variety of MILK BASED SOAPS available for purchase, each containing the highest quality of natural ingredients with the best benefits for your skin. I use fresh ingredients such as buttermilk, yoghurt, avocado, coconut cream, seaweed, etc to make different types of milk soap for you to enjoy. I use essential oils, not chemical fragrances. All soaps are handcrafted in small batches in Hampshire (see video below), using a recipe that I have formulated over several years. My goal in these formulations is to produce soaps that not only cleans well but offer bubbly lather whilst offering skin conditioning properties. As such, my soaps should be suitable for all skin types.

Argan and Rosehip Oil Body Balm

This body balm has been especially formulated for dry skin. The balm has been made using nature’s powerful ingredients to nourish skin, such as cocoa butter, beeswax, coconut oil, vit E oil, argan oil and rosehip oil. The balm is fragranced with a tea tree and lavender essential oils. Absorbs easily into skin to soothe for instant hydration.

Product Line 3: Lanolin (Wool Fat) Unisex Shaving Soap

What is Lanolin?

Lanolin is found in wool and can be extracted and purified to be used as a key ingredient in many cosmetic products.

My artisinal shaving soap has been made using lanolin, key to make a highly moisturising shaving soap. Other ingredients include: cocoa butter, coconut oil, tallow, stearic acid, castor oil, glycerine, etc. It is fragranced with essential oils, a combination of cedarwood and patchouli. My shaving soap is also suitable for women. After all women shave too!

Why don't I just used a normal soap for shaving?

True artisinal shaving soap is not bubbly like normal soap, it is creamy in texture. In order to produce lather that is more towards the consistency whisked egg whites/cream, the soap is made in a completely different way to normal bathing soap. For example, a dual lye recipe is used (see my video below on how I make my shaving soaps). Another difference is in the choice of ingredients used such as the fat content. High quality shaving soap has more fat content. More fat = more creamy texture, giving it slick (enabling your razor to glide of smoothly). Tallow (used here) is often the preferred fat often associated with more lavish, upmarket shaving puck.

How is it different from a shaving cream?

Shaving soap is in a solid form, whereas shaving cream includes water already added. You will need to use a shave brush with my soap, in order to create the same creamy, thick lather (see video below).

How to use

Wet the soap prior to use. Wet your brush under running hot water for at least a minute. Lather up the soap using circular motions (see video below). When finished, drain the soap and let it air dry in a cool/dry environment.

Product Line 4: Lanolin (Wool Fat) Shampoo Bar

A lanolin and castor oil based shampoo bar. Suitable for both men and women.

I formulated this shampoo bar because I got fed of using shampoo bars that seems to leave a kind of unwanted residue on my hair. Sometimes it would leave my hair stiff and brittle. So I came up with this formulation especially for hair. The goal of my unique formulation is to deeply clean the scalp whilst ensuring that hair becomes untangled after washing. Hence, there is no need for an extra conditioning step.

This artisinal shampoo bar has been made with combination of coconut oil and tallow, to maximise the cleansing property of the bar. Whilst castor oil offers the essential rinse off property of the bar. Lanolin was chosen so that hair does not get tangled. It is fragranced with essential oils: lavender and tea tree. No cheap chemical fragrances.
